Spokeswoman Jennifer Micale says the campus, which was closed all day May 8, was expected to open in the afternoon Thursday but the decision was made shortly after 11 a.m. to close for the entire day.

The online courses and campus email have remained available for use due to off-campus hosting of those services and the power issues were contained to the main campus only.  Other remote locations, like the Owego Connection, were able to continue functioning.

Also due to the continued power issues, officials said the Spring Fling May 9 has been cancelled and would not be rescheduled.
