Port Dickinson Man Accused of Online Child Pornography
Federal officials are accusing a Port Dickinson man of running a multi-state, online chat site involving child pornography.
39 year old Christian Maire is accused of enticing teenaged girls to perform sex acts on a webcam.
Federal prosecutors in Michigan say Maire allegedly operated the group from 2012 to 2017 with the men who participated posing as teenagers.
A Michigan man was arrested in July and opted to cooperate with the authorities.
The FBI says there are about 50 identified victims but there could be many others who have not been identified.
Authorities searched Maire’s home on October 23 and say he admitted using a website to view child pornography.
