44-year-old Michael Gincerowski pleaded guilty to felony vehicular manslaughter and aggravated driving while intoxicated in the hit-and-run that left Connie Mazzarese of Owego dead.

Prosecutors say Gincerowski, who had at least three drunk driving convictions before the deadly crash in June, was driving with a blood alcohol content of point one-nine percent and did not have a court-ordered ignition interlock device on his sport utility vehicle.

Gincerowski had been originally charged with 17 counts, including multiple counts of vehicular manslaughter and manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.

Sentencing is set for November.
