Polka Legend Visits Tioga

Legendary Polka Music artist Jimmy Sturr visits Tioga Downs today for two performances at 2 and 5 PM.  The Jimmy Sturr Orchestra has performed all over the world and has made multiple appearances around the Southern Tier of New York.  This is the third time Sturr and his orchestra have played at Tioga Downs.

Born and still residing in Florida, New York when not touring Jimmy Sturr has entertained millions over a career that began in the 1960's.  He and his group have won an amazing 18 Grammy Awards.  Sturr has been inducted into the Polka Music Hall of Fame.  The Jimmy Sturr Orchestra has sold out Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center on multiiple occasions.

Along with previous appearances at Tioga Downs, Jimmy Sturr has performed at the Spiedie Fest and at the Forum.  Admission for each of today's shows is $10.
