A man and woman were arrested after investigators confiscated several firearms and methamphetamine from a town of Plymouth residence.

Authorities say 47-year-old William Johnson Jr. and 35-year-old Kelli Johnson were arrested by investigators with the Chenango County Sheriff's Office.

A no-knock search warrant was executed at 121 Ashcraft Road Tuesday afternoon.

Sheriff's investigators were assisted by the Norwich city police department looking into the alleged distribution of meth from the house.

The two suspects were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child.

In addition to the guns and meth, police seized cash, packaging material and digital scales. The amount of money confiscated was not disclosed.

No information was provided about the child endangerment charge.

Officials said the investigation is continuing.
