A 31-year-old man has been accused of driving at a speed of 110 miles per hour on Route 96 in the Town of Candor.

Authorities say 31-year-old Curtis Singerhoff of Erin in Chemung County faces several charges after he was pulled over early Sunday morning.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Singerhoff was charged with speeding in a 55-mile-per-hour zone. He also was charged with fleeing a police officer, possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Singerhoff was arraigned in Candor town court. He was sent to Tioga County Jail on $5,000 bail.
