Phone-in Town Hall Discusses RoboCalls

The New York State Attorney General and the American Association of Retired Persons are hosting a telephone town hall to talk about automated marketing often targeting seniors.

Officials say Robocalls have become a growing problem in recent years and many of those calls are illegal.

Today’s event is a listen-only session and is also available on facebook.  The AARP is also planning to poll participants on their top concerns.
