Pharsalia Man Accused of Sexual Abuse Involving a Child

55 year old Donald Shaffer is charged with felony sexual abuse, and misdemeanor counts of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say the alleged sexual touching happened at a home in Pharsalia.  They say Shaffer was over the age of 21 at the time.

Schaffer was arrested January 18 and ordered to appear in Village of Smynra Court at a later date.
