Pennsylvania Teen Seriously Hurt in High-Speed Crash
Pennsylvania State Police say a teenaged driver is being treated for what are believed to be serious injuries following a crash in Bradford County last Friday, May 29.
The 16-year-old girl was apparently traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a left-hand turn on C.C. Allis Road in Orwell Township at around 10:30 a.m..
Her 2002 Ford Mustang crashed head-on into a tree and spun sideways into a second tree.
Troopers say the airbags did not deploy and the girl was not wearing a seat belt.
She was airlifted to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville with what were suspected to be serious injuries.
The Stevensville girl’s name and condition are not being released by the authorities.
