Pennsylvania State Police Investigate Fatal Crash in Susquehanna County

Pennsylvania State Police report a Forest City man was killed when a car driven by a Hallstead man failed to negotiate a curve on State Route 247 in Clifford Township and hit his vehicle in the on-coming lane.

Authorities say 68-year-old Richard Shinn was fatally injured in the crash at 7:55 a.m. September 4 in Susquehanna County. 30-year-old Gregory Sheridan suffered minor injuries.

Troopers say Sheridan was ticketed for crossing into the oncoming lane.
