Binghamton Police say they had only the average number of disorderly conduct responses as they would on any Thursday night in spite of hundreds of college students converging downtown for the annual Bar Crawl celebration of the end of the year.

Authorities say there were more people still out in the early morning hours but no major complaints.

Police said it was possible there might be more reports, as there have been in the past, of damage to downtown property once businesses open for the day.

In the past, there have been complaints of vandalism, urination and trash at Binghamton businesses following the popular annual drinking event.
