First lady Frances Wolf is calling the documentary “One Lens: Sharing Our Common Views”

According to a news release from the governor’s website, the One Lens exhibit is a sharing of stories with neighbors and communities in the commonwealth, and highlights the importance of the preservation of our history to inspire and help heal while creating a piece of history during the dark days of this world wide pandemic.

The Governors website quotes the first lady as saying “We are living through an extraordinary moment right now,” “How we live, how we communicate, and how we educate our children have changed drastically since last March”.

The One Lens exhibit is a way to use photography as a vessel to help tell the stories, while helping others to cope and heal.

The exhibit will cover three themes, they are “Our Heroes” which will pay tribute to our front line and others, “Our Lives” how we spend our time while living with social distancing, and “Our Communities” How we united during these unprecedented times.

Pennsylvanians are encouraged to share their experience through their pictures, the photo submission period will open on Monday February 8, 2021, and close on Monday March 8, 2021, with a full exhibit being released on Friday March 19, 2021
