Pa. Reports Double-Digit COVID Deaths One Day After No Fatalities
Pennsylvania is seeing 23 additional deaths from COVID-19, a day after reporting no new pandemic deaths for the first time in months.
Total deaths since the coronavirus came to Pennsylvania early this year are now at 7,232 in the state. There have been a total of 111,780 confirmed cases and 3,229 probable cases reported as of August 4.
Health officials say infections are up significantly among younger people in every region of the commonwealth, particularly those 19 to 24 years old.
In Bradford County, there has been a total of 133 cases and three deaths. In Susquehanna County 212 residents have been confirmed with the coronavirus and there have been 27 deaths and in Wayne County there have been 157 infections and 8 deaths.
