Oxford Man Arrested in Drug Investigation

An Oxford man is facing drug charges.

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say 24 year old parolee Travis DeMuth is charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Demuth was arrested January 12 following an investigation into the manufacture and sales of methamphetamine in Chenango County.

Sheriff’s officials and New York State Police made the arrest and say the investigation is continuing.  More arrests are expected.

DeMuth was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $30,000 bail.
