This is the final week of operations in Vestal for P.S. Restaurant before the business relocates to downtown Binghamton.

Owners Rick and Sylvana Dodd in January announced plans to move the restaurant to 99 Court Street. A previous owner started the business in a Rano Boulevard shopping plaza in 1983.

Speaking on WNBF Radio's Binghamton Now on Monday, Sylvana Dodd said the new location will mean a "fresh new start" for the restaurant following a challenging year caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dodd said no major changes are envisioned for the interior of the Court Street site, which had been home to The Loft at 99 restaurant until about two years ago.

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be the final days the restaurant will be open in Vestal.

Dodd expects the P.S. Restaurant to open its downtown location in mid-April.
