Owego Man Arrested on Child Porn Charge

An Owego man is accused of possessing child pornography following a several-months long investigation.

New York State Police say 56-year-old Dennis McKinney is charged with felony possessing a sexual performance by a child.

McKinney is accused of uploading images consistent with child pornography.

Authorities say their investigation into the allegations began several months ago.

McKinney was released to Tioga County Probation following his arraignment in Town of Owego court to await further court action.

State Police say their computer Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce assisted in the investigation.
