Broome County has a new acting director for the Office for Aging.

Jamie Kelly is leaving the job.

Broome County Executive Jason Garnar announced that Lisa Schuhle, who has been with the OFA since 1986, will serve as the acting director.

Kelly is accepting a position with the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

Kelly started working with the Broome County Office for Aging in January of 2014 and will leave the local operation October 18th.

Broome County is currently interviewing for a permanent director.
