NYSPHSAA Baseball Championships Here

The New York Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) is holding its baseball semifinals and championship games in the Greater Binghamton Area this weekend.  Play gets underway in all five classifications this afternoon with semifinal contests.  Then the five championships will be played throughout the day tomorrow.

Three Section 4 teams are competing.  At 3 PM at Binghamton University Seton Catholic Central meets Albany Academy from Section 2 in a Class B semifinal.  Also at 3PM the Class D semifinal at Conlon Field in Binghamton pits Deposit/Hancock against Section 2's Fort Ann.  Then at 4 PM in a Class A semifinal Vestal faces Whitesboro out of Section 3.  Winners move on to the state championship round tomorow at either NYSEG Stadium or Binghamton University.

Class AA at Maine-Endwell

Class A at Union-Endicott

Class B at Binghamton University

Class C at NYSEG Stadium

Class D at Conlon Field in Binghamton
