While the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and Portland Sea Dogs are battling snow and sleet in Maine the various crews and staff at NYSEG Stadium are in high gear preparing for Thursday night's home opener at 6:35 against the Erie Seawolves.  Besides the "usual" massive amount of work to prepare for a new season this time around there is an extensive amount of renovations and additions to get ready.

NYSEG Stadium is undergoing over $5 million of additions and improvements.  Fans will immediately notice all brand new blue seats complete with individual cup holders. A new sound system is part of the package as well as a million dollar electronic video board.  New sod and drainage systems have also been put into place.

Plenty of other improvements have been made to the Rumble Ponies clubhouse and the stadium's infrastructure.  The Rumble Ponies host Erie for four consecutive games beginning Thursday and then remain home to host New Hampshire for three more games through next Wednesday, April 17.
