The Pennsylvania Health Department is continuing to report large increases in new cases of COVID-19 in the state and the Northern Tier but there are no additions to the number of dead in those three counties from the pandemic over the past week.

Statewide, there were over 24,000 new cases in Pennsylvania and 173 deaths.

In Bradford County, there were 96 new cases for the week of September 1-7.  The death toll remained at 100. Bradford County has had 6,420 cases since the start of the pandemic.

Susquehanna County reports 61 new cases for the week for a total of 2,896. The death toll remained at 62.

Wayne County had 99 additional cases for the week for a pandemic total of 4,612. The death toll remains at 84.
