Newark Valley Woman Accused of Stealing Groceries

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Tioga County Sheriff’s officials say a Newark Valley woman is being held after she reportedly stole $1,689.70 in groceries from the Price Chopper supermarket in the Village of Owego.

31 year old Amanda Zimmer is charged with grand larceny, possession of a hypodermic instrument and obstruction of governmental administration.

Zimmer was arrested March 11^th and sent to the Tioga County Jail on $15,000 bail and ordered to appear in Village of Owego Court April 3.
