New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says pharmacies are now being allowed to give COVID-19 vaccinations to people with serious pre-existing conditions like chronic kidney disease, cancer, asthma and heart conditions.

Previously, Pharmacies were limited to vaccinating New Yorkers over the age of 60 and teachers.

The listing of comorbidities included in the directive can be found at the Governor's website.

Residents may be required to provide proof of comorbidities and reservations are required.

Chenango County says it now has a place for residents to register for future COVID-19 vaccine appointments each week.

In a facebook posting, the health department said was looking forward to its first Moderna clinic at the former Label Shopper Store in the South Plaza Center.  Slots for the clinic quickly filled up and the Health Department said it would start the online registration on its updated website for future COVID-19 vaccine appointments each week at www.co.chenango.ny.us/publ.../nursing.covid19.php.
