The scheduled completion date for the $7.3 million facility is June 1. The 15,118 square foot building is being constructed on the district's campus in the village of Owego. It will be near Owego Free Academy, the Owego Middle School and the recently-opened Owego Elementary School.

The administration building will replace a smaller structure on Talcott Street which was damaged by the 2011 flood.

Owego Apalachin administrative services have been using temporary space over the past four years as plans were developed for the new facility.

The school district also is planning to construct a new maintenance and storage facility near the Owego Elementary School. That building will replace a structure on Elm Street which was damaged in the flood.
