Murder Indictment Handed Down

A Brooklyn man is under formal indictment for the murder of a Binghamton man April 28 at a Fayette Street apartment complex.

21 year old Jabari Ashe was arrested last week and returned to Binghamton.

He’s charged with felony murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the killing of 26 year old Tyquan Gumbs.

Police have said they believed the shooting was gang-related.
