Motorcycle Gang Members Accused of Beating Teens With Belt

Four members of a motorcycle gang are accused of assaulting 13 year old and 14 year old victims in Endicott in May.

Village Police say 48 year old Hector Torres of Harpursville, 28 year old Noel Torres of Binghamton, 44 year old Donald Dillenbeck of Endicott and 29 year old Joshua Shafer of Vestal are charged with assault.

The La Familia Motorcycle Club members were at a gathering on Jenkins Avenue when the teens reportedly created mischief, were chased from the scene, taken back to the gathering and allegedly beaten with a belt.

Police say once the youth were returned to Jenkins Avenue, they were surrounded by the gang members while one whipped them. Some victims were also reportedly grabbed or pushed to the ground as they attempted to flee.

The four suspects have been sent to the Broome County Jail.

Police say the investigation is continuing.
