Motel Meth. Lab Suspect Arrested in Norwich
A Chenango County woman is accused of being involved in a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in the Town of Norwich.
Officials say they arrested 27 year old Rachel Cummings of the Town of Norwich after they found one-pot methamphetamine labs in a dumpster and behind one of the motel rooms at the Norwich Motor Lodge.
Cummings was arrested Tuesday, February 23 and charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and criminal possession of the precursors of methamphetamine after authorities located her at the Department of Social Services office.
Cummings was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $1,000 bail.
