Right-hander Rafael Montero threw six scoreless innings at NYSEG Stadium tonight to lead the Binghamton Mets to a 5-0 victory over the Portland Sea Dogs.  Montero gave-up only four base hits as he upped his record to 5-3.

The B-Mets faced knuckleballer Charlie Haeger who struggled with control uncorking a couple of wild pitches and another passed ball which allowed the B-Mets to score their first two runs of the game.  Allan Dykstra and Darrell Ceciliani each hammered home runs in the win.

Chase Huchingson and Jack Leathersich combined to throw three scoreless innings to close the door on the Sea Dogs.  The win puts Binghamton's record at 28-22 while Portland drops to 28-20.

The two teams will meet Monday afternoon at 1:05 PM to conclude the four-game series.  Jacob deGrom is the scheduled B-Mets pitcher while Brandon Workman is set to start for the Sea Dogs.  Airtime is 12:50 PM on 1360 AM WYOS.
