New York State Police say they found a 'one-pot' mobile meth lab after pulling over a van in the parking lot of an Endicott church.

Troopers from the Endwell barracks stopped the vehicle near First Presbyterian Church at McKinley Avenue and Monroe Street at 8:20 p.m. May 28 and found several containers of toxic chemicals that may have been used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Authorities wearing hazardous materials protection gear worked to remove the items into the early morning.

40 year old Heather Callahan of Endicott, 53 year old David A. Decker of Vestal, 49 year old Christopher Decker of Binghamton and 22 year old David R. Decker of Endicott are all charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.

Callahan and David A. Decker are also charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance. Callahan and David R. Decker are additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.  David R. Decker has a fourth count of felony evidence tampering.

Troopers say in addition to the ‘one-pot’, they found four ounces of methamphetamine oils, sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, lithium strips, salt, propane fuel, tubing, filters and bottles… all used in the manufacture of meth, marijuana smoking paraphernalia, one gram of heroin and a gram of methamphetamine.

All four were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.

Endicott Police and Fire departments assisted State Police at the scene.
