Tioga County Sheriff’s officials are helping residents get rid of old or unwanted medication.

The Office has set up a new Medication Drop Box at the main lobby of the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office located at 103 Corporate Drive, Owego.

The service is available weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Needles, lancets, sharps and liquids are not accepted.

Officials say they have a list of locations in Broome and Tioga Counties that accept drugs for disposal available for view in the lobby.
