Man Pleads Guilty in Death of Grandmother
A Vestal man is expected to spend 25 years in prison for shoving his grandmother down the stairs, killing her in 2015.
31 year old Kenneth Weber Pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the January 26th death of 82 year old Saundra Stabler.
After shoving Stabler down the stairs, Police say Weber led them to a spot off a Pennsylvania back road where he said he dumped the woman’s body.
Prosecutors say Weber had led a troubled life and his grandmother was the only one who was willing to care for him and the two lived together on Ideal Terrace.
Sentencing is set for July 28.
In addition to manslaughter, Weber yesterday pleaded guilty to grand larceny for stealing his grandmother’s credit card and making several purchases.
Weber is being held in the Broome County Jail.
