Man Indicted For Binghamton Murder
A Broome County man is under a murder indictment for the killing of a Binghamton man during an attempted robbery October 4th on Mather Street, Binghamton.
21 year old Trevis Johnson, who lists no permanent address, has pleaded not guilty to murder and attempted robbery.
27 year old Sergio Belo died after being shot in the chest with a round from a long gun. His body was found in the doorway of an upstairs apartment when police responded to an emergency call at around 1 a.m.
Johnson is charged with first degree murder, two counts of second degree murder and attempted robbery.
District Attorney Gerald Mollen says the investigation is continuing and another suspect is involved in the case.
