Man Charged In Delaware County Linked to Burglary in Broome

A Windsor man is accused of using a credit card in Deposit that was stolen in the Town of Sanford in December.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say they arrested Dylan Katen on May 22 and charged him with felony criminal possession of stolen property and misdemeanor petit larceny.

Delaware County officials say during the course of Broome County Sheriff’s Detectives’ investigation, authorities learned the credit card reported stolen in 2019 had been used at a Deposit convenience store on December 12.

Katen was arraigned via teleconference and released pending appearance in Deposit Town Court at a later date.

Meanwhile, the burglary in the Town of Sanford is still being investigated by the Broome County Sheriff’s Detective Division.
