Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the theft of more than $1,000 in rings and bracelets from a town of Union business.

41-year-old Edward Shelton of Endwell faces a felony grand larceny charge. He was arrested Friday by a detective with the Broome County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said the items were stolen on September 1 from Charlie Blonde Antiques in the Endwell Plaza at 2801 East Main Street.

Shelton was recognized from surveillance video.

Shelton was issued an appearance ticket for Union town court.
