Over the past several years, Governor Andrew Cuomo and members of his administration have traveled across the state to highlight portions of the budget of interest to specific regions.

The $175.5 billion spending plan was approved by the state legislature April 1 and includes making the 2% property tax increase cap permanent, eliminating cash bail for some suspects awaiting trial, a ban on plastic shopping bags and some adjustments to state reimbursements to county and local governments.

The local presentation of the 2020 New York State Budget will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Taste NY Agriculture Development Center at Cornell Cooperative Extension at 840 Upper Front Street in the Town of Dickinson. Doors open at 1:15 p.m.
