Liverpool Man Charged in Two Counties

A Liverpool, New York man is in trouble in Cortland and Broome Counties.

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials arrested 58-year-old Steven Kilgore at 1:45 p.m. February 5 for a reported larceny at Tops Market in Cortlandville after tracking him down on Interstate 81 in the Town of Preble.  Deputies say they found he was in possession of a controlled substance and was wanted on a warrant in Broome County for Grand Larceny.

Kilgore was transferred to the Broome County’s Sheriff’s Office but was scheduled to appear in the Town of Cortlandville Court to answer to charges of petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
