Lisle Man Sentenced in Child Sexual Assault Case
A northern Broome County man has received a lengthy prison sentence after he was convicted of predatory sexual assault against a child.
32-year-old Nicholas May was found guilty during a jury trial in September. He also was convicted of course of sexual conduct against a child.
May was sentenced in Broome County Court Friday to 15 years to life in prison.
New York State Police arrested May in October 2017. He was indicted by a grand jury last January.
During the trial, prosecutors told jurors May had engaged in sexual conduct with a girl who was under the age of eleven. The incidents were said to have occurred between the summer of 2015 and October 2017.
