Motorists in part of Susquehanna County may find themselves rerouted for a while as crews try to shore up a landslide that brought down part of an embankment.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says the slide happened on State Route 1-08 in Harmony Township on Friday, April 2.

The road is closed between Depot Street and King Hill Road indefinitely.

Traffic coming from the north will approach from Shadigee Creek Road in Wayne County, continue onto Little Ireland Road in Susquehanna County then turn right onto State Route 171 to Lanesboro.

Traffic coming from the south will travel to the intersection of Little Ireland road then left onto State Route 1004 in Susquehanna County then continue on Shadigee Creek Road and Starrucca Creek Road in Wayne County before ending up back in Susquehanna County on Starucca Creek Road at State Route 1009.
