Kitty-Shirt-Wearing Suspect Sought in Theft of Children’s Hospital Donations
New York State Police are asking for help in finding a man wearing a less-than-threatening choice of apparel in connection with the theft of two donation jars for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Troopers say the suspect is seen on surveillance with his hand on a jar at the Speedway store on State Highway 28 in Margaretville. The thefts happened at around 12:15 a.m. July 20.
The white man appears to be in his 20s with a jaw-line thin beard, dark glasses and a dark shirt with a kitten on the front and the words “Hug Life” emblazoned across the kitty.
The suspect took off in a small sport utility vehicle in the direction of Fleischmanns. There may have been two other people in the SUV with him
