The Annual July Fest and Music & Jazz Festival is going on this weekend in Downtown Binghamton.  Festivities started Friday and will continue through Sunday afternoon.  A wide variety of music highlights the three-day event.

Popular group SPLASH is entertaining a large gathering of fans tonight (Friday) on the M & T Bank Sound Stage at the intersection of State and Court Streets.  Saturday night the Black Lites R & B Show Band will perform.  Earlier in the the afternoon on Friday Terry Walker's Steely Dan Tribute Band "Dupree" drew a large crowd.

Along with plenty of musical entertainment there are numerous food booths and exhibits on Court and Washington Streets.

.  There is a Kidz Art Zone featuring the Magic Paint Brush Project each day from Noon - 5 P.M. Saturday morning Mo Taylor entertains beginning at 8 A.M.  At 9 A.M. the Parlor City 5K Run is scheduled.
