Johnson City Man Dies in Homemade Motorcycle Crash
A Johnson City man is dead after crashing a homemade, unregistered motorcycle in Cortland County.
New York State Police say 47-yer-old Michael Sipe was driving on Interstate 81 in Cortlandville July 18 when he lost control and crashed into a guiderail.
Authorities say they were called to I81 Southbound at around 8 p.m. to a report of a motorcycle crash.
Sipe was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
State Police say their investigation is continuing.
