Johnson City Celebrates the Holidays
The annual Johnson City Business and Professional Women's Holiday Parade is set for this Thursday, November 30th. This is always one of the area's premier holiday events.
The parade gets underway at 7 PM and forms as in past years at Your Home Library and proceeds down Main Street to the Arch Street Bridge. Participants disband at the Senior Citizens Center on Brocton Street.
Johnson City Police remind residents that they will close Main Street from the Johnson City and Binghamton border to Arch Street. Main Street on the parade route will close to vehicular traffic at 6:45 PM.
There will be dozens of units taking part in the parade. Everything from fire trucks to musical groups will be featured. WNBF's mobile news mobile will take part in the parade along with other Townsquare Media mobile units.
