
Wave of Arrests in Vestal Includes DWIs, Road Rage, and Theft
The Vestal Police Department had a busy week, with arrests ranging from impaired driving and road rage to trespassing and shoplifting.
Four Drivers Arrested for DWI
Police made multiple arrests tied to driving while intoxicated.
- Codie Reynolds, 29, of Brackney, Pennsylvania, was charged with driving while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol content over .08, and being in a town park after hours.
- Joseph Krawecki Jr., 36, of Vestal, was also arrested for driving while intoxicated following a domestic-related incident.
- In separate traffic stops, Iree Downey, 24, of Endicott, and Jacqueline Henshaw, 41, of Waymart, Pennsylvania, were both charged with DWI and having a BAC over .08, along with additional traffic violations.
Trespassing, Resisting Arrest, and Obstruction Charges Filed
Several incidents involved people refusing to leave properties or interfering with police.
- Corey Vymislicky, 37, of Endicott, faces multiple charges after police say he entered an apartment without permission. Officers also charged him with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, and possession of a controlled substance.
- Ryan McKinney, 40, of Vestal, was arrested after allegedly refusing to leave a business when asked, leading to charges that include trespassing and resisting arrest.
- Kathleen Pellett, 37, of Vestal, was charged with obstructing governmental administration after police say she interfered during her boyfriend’s arrest.
- Jeremy Wheeler, 45, of Fall Creek, Oregon, was also charged with obstructing governmental administration.

Man Punches Driver in Road Rage Assault
One arrest stemmed from a road rage situation.
- Robert Gordon, 35, of Westfield, Pennsylvania, was charged with third-degree assault after police say he struck another person in the face with a closed fist during the incident.
Binghamton Man Caught with Stolen Cell Phone
Police also reported a case involving stolen property and drugs.
- Phillip Kasmarcik, 32, of Binghamton, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property after allegedly having a stolen cell phone.
Five Charged with Shoplifting at Target, Weis, Kohl’s, and Dick’s
Several arrests involved petit larceny tied to shoplifting incidents at local businesses.
- Jeremy Drake, 43, of Binghamton, was charged after an incident at Target.
- David Kubeli, 55, and Spring Kubeli, 57, both of Vestal, were charged following separate incidents at Weis.
- Preston Walker, 29, was charged with two counts of petit larceny related to incidents at Kohl’s on different dates.
- Diamond Vincent, 30, of Endicott, was charged after a reported incident at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
- Jimmy Groats, 38, of Apalachin, also faces a petit larceny charge tied to an incident at Weis.
