The New York State Police are asking for assistance from Tioga County residents and neighboring communities to help locate an individual who has gone missing under concerning circumstances.

The missing person is identified as 47-year-old Lance O. Bogart. He is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Investigators are currently working with this information, and any additional details, no matter how minor, could prove vital in locating Bogart.

Last Known Location and Circumstances

Bogart was last observed at approximately 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, near the wood line behind a residence on Halsey Valley Road in the Town of Tioga.

A witness reported seeing him running northeast into a wooded area at that time.
