This event, organized by Church Women United (CWU) of Oxford and St. Joseph's Church, has been a community tradition since 1984 and on Thursday, November 23, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., everyone is invited to join in the spirit of giving thanks and enjoy a delicious meal.

This year's Thanksgiving dinner will focus on dinner pick-ups and home deliveries only at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parish House, located at 32 Main Street in Oxford. Unfortunately, there will be no dining-in option available this year. However, the organizers are determined to ensure that the community can still come together and enjoy a memorable Thanksgiving meal.

If you are unable to pick up your meal in person and reside in the Oxford area, home deliveries are available upon request. Simply reach out to Sue at (607) 316-3465 by Monday, November 20, to arrange a delivery. For residents in McDonough, please contact Donna at 607-647-5659 to request a home delivery.

As the Free Thanksgiving dinner is a community-driven and community-supported event, free-will donations will be gratefully accepted at the NBT Bank in Oxford. These donations play a vital role in ensuring the success of this annual tradition, allowing the organizers to continue providing a warm and nourishing meal to those in need.

The 39th Annual Free Thanksgiving Day Dinner is a beautiful example of the power of community and the generosity that shines through during the holiday season.
