Three Bills Players Declared Out For Sunday’s Game in New England
The Buffalo Bills are 4-2 and looking to improve to 5-2 this Sunday. They visit Foxborough to play the New England Patriots.
The Bills have to win to try and keep pace with the 5-1 Miami Dolphins, who have a tough test on Sunday night, when they play the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bills could grab hold of the top spot in the AFC East with a victory and a Dolphins loss, since they hold the tiebreaker.
As for the game in New England, the Bills are playing a team who might have the worst offense in the NFL. The Patriots are 1-5 and struggling to find any rhythm on offense. However, the Bills will be even more shorthanded on defense this Sunday.
Head coach Sean McDermott, on WGR radio, has ruled out defensive tackle Ed Oliver; along with tight end Quintin Morris and running back Damien Harris.
Oliver hasn't practiced all week with a foot injury. With DaQuan Jones and Matt Milano also out, this means Tim Settle, Poona Ford, Terrel Bernard and Dorian Williams will have to step up in this game.
The Patriots only offensive weapon has been running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who could try and take advantage of the depleted Bills defense. The Bills stopped Saquon Barkley short-handed this past Sunday.
The Bills have to win this game in New England, along with the Thursday Night Football game against Tampa Bay. The game after those two is at the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football.
If the Bills want to win the division and have hopes of the one seed in the AFC, this is a must-win game on Sunday.
