With temperatures hitting the 80's many of us will be looking for ways to cool off.  A great way is by visiting the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park for their Ice Cream Safari.  The event is being held today (Saturday July 16) from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. The Zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton.

There will be five Turkey Hill ice cream stations.  Flavors available include chocolate mint chip, cookies 'n cream, Dutch chocolate and rainbow sherbert along with French vanilla.

Visitors will be able to see their favorite zoo animals. There will be an animal art sale to benefit the zoo's animal enrichment fund and there will be plenty of activities for kids including crafts and face painting.

Tickets are available for purchase at the event.  The cost is $6.00 for zoo members/supporters and $8.00 for non-members.  More information is available at rossparkzoo.com.
