Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania man is accused of being in possession of a stolen car after escaping house arrest.

New York State Police say they were notified by the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office at 5:32 p.m. on November 25 that they had been looking for 20 year old James Coyne of Waverly, Pennsylvania, who was believed to have stolen a 2012 Ford Fusion.

New York State Troopers in Owego found the stolen vehicle that contained two credit cards and other items, unattended, at the Nichols boat launch on River Road.

November 26, Troopers located 20 year old James Coyne and arrested him following a short foot chase in the Town of Waverly, New York.

Coyne is charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property and two felony counts of grand larceny as well as misdemeanor petit larceny.

He was sent to the Tioga County Jail without bail.
