Hit and Run Bail Hearing in Binghamton

A bail hearing is being held for the suspect charged in connection with the hit-and-run death of a Binghamton University student earlier this month.

26 year old Aizaz Siddiqui of Binghamton is charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident leading to death and more charges are possible.

The body of Stefani Lineva was found on Route 434 near the Pennsylvania Avenue exit and police say her fatal injuries were consistent with being hit by a vehicle.

Police say Lineva and the suspect did not know each other.
