Heart Walk Pre-Registration Set For Tomorrow At Tioga State Bank in Vestal

Pre-registration for this Sunday's Heart Walk will be held tomorrow (Thursday) from 11:30 AM - 6:30 PM at Tioga State Bank on the Vestal Parkway near Red Lobster.  Walkers who plan to participate in Sunday's 24th Annual Heart Walk can drop off registration envelopes and cash and check donations and receive entrance bracelets for the event.

Also available at tomorrow's pre-registration is a schedule of walk-day festivities.  The Heart Walk is being held on campus at Binghamton University.  The walk is 1 - 3 miles depending on how far each partcipant chooses to go. Doors open at the Events Center at BU at 10 AM on Sunday.

There will be activities for kids in the Kids Zone.  Also, there will be a number of  exhibits on display.  UHS is providing a Health Screening and Education section.  Lourdes is hosting Eat Street with healthy food samples and there will be a special section for survivors of heart attacks and strokes.

At noon Sunday Opening Ceremonies will begin on the Main Stage outside of the Events Center.  The Heart Walk is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM. WNBF's Roger Neel will broadcast live from the Events Center on the Barb Mack Show from 10 AM - Noon on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
