The Hartford Hawks withstood several late comeback attempts by the Binghamton Bearcats at the Chase Family Arena in West Hartford Wednesday night and went on to record a 76-69 victory.  The win avenges a Binghamton victory over the Hawks at the Events Center last month.

Hartford has now won 11 of the last 13 games between the two schools and owns an 11-5 edge in games played in West Hartford.  With the Hawks victory they move ahead of Binghamton in the America East standings.  The Hawks are 4-11 with their regular season finale at Albany on Saturday evening.  With the loss Binghamton falls to 3-12 and will close out their regular season on Saturday afternoon at 2 PM by hosting the Maine Black Bears.

Binghamton was led in scoring by Everson Davis  who hit a career high 19 points.  Hartford's Jalen Ross and Jason Dunne each scored 22 points to key the win.
